Your Pet
During the initial consultation meeting we will complete a pet care agreement to act in the best interest for your pet Dogs must be sociable with other dogs and children The owner has an obligation to advise at the initial consultation meeting of any behavioural problems or traits your dog may have. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your booking and loss of deposit/payment Bark in the Park reserves the right to decline/terminate a booking if a dog is not sociable, has serious behavioural problems and/or is dangerous Dogs must wear a collar with an ID tag/contact details - even if micro-chipped
Walking
Booked walking time for dogs will be for the full allocated time (excluding travelling time) Bark in the Park reserve the right to use personal judgement to shorten the walk time or change to a home visit if in the best interest for your dog and for the safety of your dog and/or walker (e.g. extreme weather conditions, injury, age of dog etc.) All dogs will be exercised on a lead unless by prior arrangement with Bark in the Park Dog walking off the lead will only be undertaken once we are happy that it is safe to do so Any fouling by your dog will be disposed of by Bark in the Park Bitches in season will not be allowed off the lead
Equipment
The owner will be required to provide sufficient food and sundries for the duration of a booking Any replenishment provided by Bark in the Park will incur a surcharge to the owner Leads, treats, favourite toys, dog towels etc. are to be provided by the owner as appropriate
Vaccinations
Dogs and cats must be up to date with all worm and flea treatments Up to date certificates of vaccinations will be required at the initial consultation meeting
Insurance
Bark in the Park has £2 million public liability insurance. The owner is required to provide pet insurance and microchip details (if applicable) at the initial consultation meeting Bark in the Park will not be held liable for any loss, injury or death to a pet or damage caused by the pet either inside or outside whilst in our care
Vet Details
All pets are required to be registered with a local vet Vet contact details, along with a nominated 3rd party emergency contact that can make a decision regarding surgery (if necessary), are to be provided at the initial consultation meeting Bark in the Park reserves the right to use its judgement in seeking veterinary advice/treatment if we believe your pet to be unwell in an emergency situation The owner and/or emergency contact will be contacted (if possible); the owner will be responsible for any vet fees incurred Emergency vet visits will also incur an additional minimum charge of £15
Deposits/Payments
The pet owner will be required to sign the pet care agreement at the initial consultation meeting in order to secure services, along with the payment of a non-refundable 50% deposit The deposit will be deducted from the first booking payment
All bookings must be paid in full in advance/the beginning of each service For ongoing bookings, payments must be made monthly in advance unless otherwise agreed
Cancellations
Regular customers will be required to give a minimum of 14 days notice to terminate A minimum of 7 days notice is required for cancellations or changes to bookings due to holiday For temporary cancellations, or changes to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances, a minimum of 24 hours notice is required Customers cancelling within the above timescales will be entitled to a full refund. Failure to comply with these timescales will result in full payment for the booking being required In the event of cancellation by Bark in the Park, any deposits/payments will be refunded in full
